Senior waiter Daniela Kundrová

I have been working in La Bouchée Restaurant since April 2008, now as a senior waiter. What I like most in gastronomy is combining the flavour of wine and food. And that is why I completed a sommelier course in the Wine Academy in Valtice where I got the chance to learn a lot about wine from the doyen of the Czech and Moravian viticulture, and also the most famous Czech expert in wine, professor Vilém Kraus.

In our restaurant I organize the regular event entitled „Wine of the Month“. I usually choose four samples of wine – every month from a different Moravian wine grower – and with cooks we prepare a special tasting menu to go with the wine. I personally like local wines a lot; I think that they can compete with the world-famous wines thanks to their quality and taste diversity.

I will be pleased to help you choose suitable wine to go with the selected meal. Also, I and the other attending staff will do our best so that you feel good in our restaurant and so that you like to come back.

My motto is: Life is too short to drink bad wine.
